Privacy policy

For Basketball Agent Simulator and its app-specific support pages. Published by Logan DeSmet. This policy does not automatically apply to Baseball Agent or other apps.

At a glance

Your saved careers stay in the app’s local storage.
The current app has no ads, tracking SDKs or third-party analytics.
Apple handles purchases. We do not receive your payment-card details through the app.
If you contact support, we receive the message and attachments you send.

1. What information is used, and why

Information	Purpose	Where it goes
Careers, names you enter, gameplay history and settings	Save progress and run the game	Local app storage
Verified purchase and delivery records	Deliver purchases, handle pending requests and prevent duplicate delivery	Apple services and local app storage
Support messages, ideas, bug reports and attachments you choose to send	Respond to requests, investigate problems and evaluate suggestions	Our support mailbox and email provider
Website request information	Deliver and secure support pages	Website hosting infrastructure

The current app has no developer-operated game server or game account. It does not automatically upload saved careers to us. Locally saved information includes agency and founder names, career history, game-moment inputs and results, preferences, retry requests, and purchase-delivery records. The app also reads its own saved-file modification dates to display save information.

2. Purchases through Apple

Apple processes checkout under its own policies. The app uses verified transaction information, including product and transaction identifiers, purchase or revocation status, and a routing token that connects a purchase to the appropriate career. Pending and completed delivery records help the app resume safely and avoid granting the same purchase twice.

These app records are stored locally and are not sent to a developer-operated server. We do not receive your payment-card number through the app. Apple may provide developer sales, financial and diagnostic reports through its services; those are separate from your local career files. See Apple’s privacy policy for its processing.

3. Support, ideas and optional diagnostics

When you email support@logandesmet.com, we receive your email address, message, message metadata and any files you attach through our email service. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue, and keep a record of the support conversation. Send only information relevant to your request. Never send passwords, verification codes or payment-card details.

If you send an idea or feature request, we use it to understand your suggestion, consider improvements and respond when appropriate. Avoid including private information about other people. Sending feedback does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

The feedback composer prepares a message for your email application. Preparing or reviewing it does not send it to us. Its draft stays in the open page’s memory so you can move between sections; the website does not write it to browser storage. We receive the message only if you send it through your email application. Copying a message places it on your clipboard.

The app does not automatically send us your saved career. If you choose to share a save, screenshot or diagnostic file, review it first: it may contain names you entered and gameplay or transaction information. Apple may separately share feedback or diagnostics with developers according to its services, your settings and the permissions you give.

4. Website and service providers

This website is hosted using Cloudflare. Its infrastructure processes request information, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the pages. The website has no advertising or optional analytics scripts. Support email is handled using Google Workspace. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy for information about these services.

The feedback composer prepares a message for your email application rather than sending it to a website server. Opening an email link does not send the message; we receive it only if you send it through your email application.

App-update signup is not currently available. The website does not collect email addresses or app preferences through that form, and no newsletter subscription is created. Before enabling signup, we will update this policy to explain the information collected, provider, retention and removal choices. Contacting support does not subscribe you to marketing.

External links open services governed by their own policies. Information you choose to post on a community or social service may be public. You do not need a social account to use email support. Service-provider processing may take place outside your country.

5. Advertising, analytics and permissions

The current app does not display ads, use advertising identifiers, or contain tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not request access to contacts, precise location, the camera or the microphone. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-company targeted advertising under the practices described here.

This describes the current version. It is not a promise that the app will never add an optional advertising or other data-dependent feature. Any such change is subject to the update process below.

6. Retention, deletion and your choices

Local data remains while the app’s data is retained on your device. Deleting a career does not necessarily erase purchase-delivery records. Choosing Delete App in iOS removes the app’s local files and preferences; offloading the app or removing its Home Screen icon does not. Backups are managed separately through your Apple settings and may include app data.

Deleting local app data does not cancel purchases or delete Apple’s records. Eligible ownership may still be restored through Apple. We cannot remotely delete files on your device or erase Apple’s transaction records.

Support correspondence remains in our mailbox until deleted; there is currently no fixed automatic deletion schedule. You can request deletion using the contact below. Relevant information may need to be retained for an unresolved issue or an applicable legal obligation. If a request cannot be fully fulfilled, we will explain the reason.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, delete, restrict or object to the use of personal information we hold. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator. Contact us to make a request; we may ask for proportionate information to verify that it concerns your data.

7. Children and privacy

The current app does not ask players to register a game account or provide a date of birth, and has no advertising or tracking SDK. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can review and address the request. An App Store age rating is separate from rules about collecting children’s personal information.

8. Security

Keep your device and software updated, and protect access to your device and email. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. If you suspect a privacy issue, contact us without including passwords or other sensitive credentials.

9. Changes and future features

We may update the app and this policy. Before introducing advertising, analytics, accounts, cloud saves or another feature that changes how personal information is used, we will describe the applicable information, purposes, providers, retention and choices, and update relevant App Store disclosures. We will obtain consent or platform permission where required before the relevant processing begins.

Material changes will be called out through an appropriate notice, such as an in-app notice or a prominent notice on this page. The updated policy will state its effective date. This policy is not advance consent to future tracking, advertising or unrelated uses of information you previously supplied.

10. Publisher and privacy requests
